Where to get student discounts?

With student card you'll get student discounts from many business firms around Finland. Most familiar of them is VR 50 % discount, but also Akateeminen Kirjakauppa, Area, Forex, HI-hostellit, If Vahinkovakuutus, Instrumentarium, Kilroy Travels, Kultajousi, Matkahuolto, Restel Hotel Group, Silmäasema, STA Travel, Tiimari, Top-Sport and Visa are giving discounts. In addition, tens of firms in Jyväskylä area give special student discounts. These can be checked out at Students' Jyväskylä site. At the moment there are 44 companies from various fields with!

With student card you'll enjoy student priced lunch at every student restaurant. Also JAMKO Café at Rajakatu gives 10 % off normal priced cafetera products for JAMKO members with card.

Amazing benefit for JAMKO members is student sports. Members get to use newly renovated gym at the Rajakatu Main Campus. More to that, JAMKO members get to join students' sport club KOOLS with 5 € yearly fee. In KOOLS you can excersise and play ball games as much as you wish. Too bad that you cannot get a receipt of the gym fee you didn't need to pay this year!

Many JAMKO events and services are priced separately to the members. Event prices are announced case by case, but service prices can be found at Office services site.
