Student card is JAMKOs membership card and you can join as a member for the whole year or just for a semester. CHANGES TO FRANK STUDENT SERVICE AND PRICING

Tue 21.8.

During the summer JAMKOs cooperation partner Frank has changed its practices about the digital student card and introduced some fees. JAMKO is considering to change the digital student identification. JAMKO has implemented a chat service on www.jamko.fi/en. You’ll find it on the right lower corner of the screen when visiting our website. you’ll get assistance to membership, student card or other JAMKO related questions regardless of your location. JAMKO’S GYM OPEN AGAIN

Tue 21.8.

JAMKO’s members train for free at JAMKO Gym. The gym is located at Rajakatu campus, basement of D-wing (DK25). Keep a valid student card with you while you train. JAMKO CAFÉ IS OPEN AND NEXT WEEK LONGER HOURS!

Students living room JAMKO Café has opened at JAMK UAS Main Campus. Welcome to enjoy sweet or savory treats, best brew on campus, or take a breather during a busy day. As a student union member you receive a 10 percent discount from all café products. JAMKO café serves with shortened hours on orientation week, but change to longer hours starting from week 35. JAMKO IC BEACH PICNIC

Fri 24.8.

JAMKO International Club and JYY invites all the new and old students to join a relaxed afternoon picnic on Friday the 24th of August on the Tuomiojärvi beach from 12pm to 5pm.  JAMKO’S OPENING FESTIVAL SALUTES TO STUDENT’S NATIVE PLACE

Thu 30.8.

JAMKO’s three-part JAMKOs Opening Festival starts at Lutakonpuisto and gather all the best of student life in one place starting at 3 p.m. The event celebrates students’ countries, regions and hometowns, so be sure to keep your flag up high and salute to others as well. The evening continues at 7pm at M/s Rhea and it keeps going till the early hours at Bra2 dancefloor. Tickets to Rhea will be coming to sale Mon Aug 27th 9pm at www.bailataan.fi so be quick. LET’S JOG TOGETHER

Tue 28.8.

Academic Sports’ and JAMKO organizes Tuesday jogs and welcome’s all students to join. We jog every Tuesday between 7 of August – 2 of october starting at 5 pm. The starting point is at the lower end of Harju’s stone stairs, next to Yliopistonkatu. The jog lasts about an hour and the pace is set to the wishes of the participants. STUDENT PARKING PERMITS FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR OF 2018 – 2019

Thu 30.8.

Student parking permit will be on sale on the 30th of august 2018, starting at 8.00 a.m and the 4th of September 2018, starting at 8.00 a.m. at the Rajakatu Main Campus infodesk. The permits are sold 100pc / day and they can’t be booked in advance. A student parking permit costs EUR 40 and is valid for one academic year 2018-19.

CHANGES ON CAMPUSES

Tue 21.8.

On summer vacation facility services have done changes to classrooms in the f-wing of main campus and made the hallways more fresh. There is more places for individual and group studying in Dynamo, for example huts in the upper levels and new furniture to cafeteria. Changes to classrooms have been done in the Institute of Bioeconomy as well.
