RENEW MEMBERSHIP BY THE END OF SEPTEMBER

Current members need to renew their membership via JAMKO’s website in order to get a valid semester sticker to their student card. Last semester’s stickers expire by the end of September and the renewal must be done to maintain the student benefits. CHANGES TO FRANK STUDENT SERVICE AND PRICING

During the summer JAMKOs cooperation partner Frank has changed its practices about the digital student card and introduced some fees. JAMKO is considering to change the digital student identification. JAMKO’s three-part JAMKOs Opening Festival starts at Lutakonpuisto and gather all the best of student life in one place starting at 3 p.m. The theme salutes to all students’ own country, region or hometown, so be sure to keep your flag up high any way you like and salute to others as well. For the first time in JAMKO’s history an electronic candidacy filing process is possible! JAMKO’s member service points are open at Dynamo, Music campus and Tarvaala in September. JAMKO’s office is open as usual and don’t close for lunch or coffee break. New student cards, semester stickers and event tickets can be acquired from the points. Note that points on Dynamo, Music and Tarvaala campus take only card payments. LET’S JOG TOGETHER

Academic Sports’ and JAMKO organizes Tuesday jogs and welcome’s all students to join. We jog every Tuesday between 7 of August – 2 of october starting at 5 pm. The starting point is at the lower end of Harju’s stone stairs, next to Yliopistonkatu. The jog lasts about an hour and the pace is set to the wishes of the participants. STUDENT PARKING PERMITS FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR OF 2018 – 2019

Student parking permit will be on sale on the 30th of august 2018, starting at 8.00 a.m and the 4th of September 2018, starting at 8.00 a.m. at the Rajakatu Main Campus infodesk. The permits are sold 100pc / day and they can’t be booked in advance. A student parking permit costs EUR 40 and is valid for one academic year 2018-19.
