Freshman pass

Your Freshman Pass will serve as your guide to student life during your first year of study. By completing the tasks of the Freshman Pass, you will get to know JAMKO, the student union of Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences, its partners and the delights of your student city. Once you have collected enough achievements, you will compete for great prizes!

How to get a stamp

You’ll get a stamp after accomplishing the tasks in the pass. At JAMKO events, you will receive a stamp from a JAMKO representative. For partners, you will receive a stamp at the time of payment at the venue. For independent performance, you can get a stamp from a JAMKO representative by proving your performance, e.g. with a photo or receipt.

Freshman pass rules

• The pass is personal. Collect all your stamps yourself. If you are caught misusing your pass, it will no longer be valid and no stamps will be replaced.
• By completing 10 tasks, 2 of which are events, you are eligible for a Freshman overall patch.
• By collecting 15 stamps, 4 of which are events, qualifies you for a Super freshman patch.
• The freshmen with the most stamps will be rewarded. The freshman with the most stamps wins the Giga freshman award. The runner-up wins the Hyper freshman award. In case of a tie, the winner will be drawn. The other 15 or more stamps will be drawn for the Super Freshman prize.
• The names of the winners are published on JAMKO’s social media.
• You will receive an overall patch when you return your pass to the JAMKO office. Patches will be handed out as long as they last. Return your pass by 30 April to be entered into the prize draw.
• If you lose your pass, there will be no refund of the completed tasks. You can get a new pass from the JAMKO office. If you find a lost pass, please return it to the JAMKO office.
