BREAK A SWEAT AT JAMKO GYM FOR FREE

JAMKO’s members train for free at JAMKO Gym. The gym is located at Rajakatu campus, basement of D-wing (DK25). Keep a valid student card with you while you train. JAMKO CAFÉ IS OPEN AGAIN!

Students’ living room JAMKO Café has opened at JAMK UAS Main Campus. Welcome to have a cup of coffee and relax. As a student union member you receive a 10 percent discount from all café products.

Friday: 7:45-14:00

END THE ORIENTATION AT JAMKO’S BEACH PICNIC
Fri 30.8.
Welcome to sum up the orientation week and join a laidback afternoon picnic on Friday the 30th of August on the Tuomiojärvi beach from 3pm to 7pm. Let’s enjoy snacks, good company and fun outdoor games. You can also try a special trailer sauna and dip to the lake, so bring your bathing suit and towel with you! JAMKO’S KICK-OFF OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR IS HERE!

The academic year will get started on 3rd of September in Lutakonpuisto. This day is for everyone, for new as well as continuing students. At first you get to meet local operators, student organisations, play games, try different sports and enjoy. SPORTS STICKERS for 2019-2020 ARE AVAILABLE

The sports sticker is your access to Academic Sports’ services. The sports sticker is valid in group fitness and ball games and in Yogobe online service right after the purchase and in Monitoimitalo and Rentukka gyms from 1 of September on. RENTAL BIKES FOR EXCHANGE STUDENTS

Rental bikes are available for exchange students on this semester. Bikes are 3-7 speed city bikes. Bikes have a full warranty in case of technical problems. STUDENT PARKING PERMITS FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR OF 2019 – 2020
Mon 2.9.
Student parking permits will be on sale from Sept 2nd starting at 8.00 a.m (100 permit) and 3th of September 2019, starting at 8.00 a.m (100 permit) at the Rajakatu Main Campus infodesk. A student parking permit costs 40 euros and is valid for one academic year. Parking takes place in the order of arrival. STUDY WITH CAMPUS ONLINE ALSO DURING THE AUTUMN

Missing some credits? Are you in a hurry to graduate? Interested in courses that are currently not available in your own university of applied science? CampusOnline offers over 450 online courses – during this autumn. The course selection for autumn 2019 will be released on 12 August. The enrolment period opens on 26 August at 8am.
