JAMKO’s membership at the turn of Academic year
JAMKO member service will serve remotely in JAMKO online chat, by phone or email until the end of June. JAMKO aims to open the office again on 12th of August onwards in Main campus, but we will inform on the impact of the Covid-19 situation on the opening of our office in early August. In any case, our member service will also start remotely after the summer.
Old memberships for Academic year 2019-2020 and for Spring semester 2020 are valid until the end of September 2020. Both new and continuing students are able to acquire a membership for Fall semester 2020 or for Academic year 2020-2021 from 1st of July onwards. New membership stickers or ordered student cards can only be picked up after our office has opened after the summer. Meanwhile you can activate our digital membership card in Pivo as an additional service for your use. With this you will get the same student benefits and discounts as with the physical membership card. More information about activation you’ll find here.
Getting a membership and a student card as a new student
If you have just received an acceptance letter about receiving a study place in JAMK University of Applied Sciences, congratulations! Welcome to our student community! For joining JAMKO and ordering a student card, you’ll need first to accept the study place and enroll for Attendance in Studyinfo.fi -service. After this you’ll need to get your JAMK username in JAMK’s Vetuma online service, so that we’re able to authenticate that you’re an attending student in JAMK. After this you can get your membership in JAMKO online store. More information about ordering a student card.
Renewing a membership as a continuing member
If you already have a JAMKO student card and a membership from last semester/academic year, you don’t have to order a new student card, you can just renew your membership for the new semester/academic year. You can do it easily in JAMKO online store. First you’ll need to enroll for Attendance for new semester or academic year in Peppi and after this you can log in to JAMKO online store. More information about renewing the membership here. After you have renewed your membership, you can activate our digital membership card in Pivo for your use, if you haven’t done this before. The digital membership card can be activated mainly during the same day when the membership has been paid. If you already have been using the digital membership card, your renewed membership will be updated into the digital membership card at the latest when the membership period changes in September-October.

JAMKO membership service points will arrive again on all campuses in Fall 2020. From our membership service point you can collect a membership sticker for a new membership period, the ordered student cards and you’ll gain more information about the services of JAMKO. Mark the following times on your calendar:
- Dynamo: From 31.8. to 30.9. Mon and Wed at 10-15 and Fri at 10-14
- Music campus: On Tue 1.9., 15.9. and 29.9. at 11-14
- Tarvaala: On Thu 10.9. and 24.9. at 11:30-13:30
