Our member service advisor Krista has put together these essential tips for new, continuing and graduating students.
Did you just receive an offer of admission at JAMK?
Congratulations, and welcome to our student community! If you are a new student, you can become a member of JAMKO after your have accepted your offer of admission and enrolled as an attending student for the next academic year in My StudyInfo service (Opintopolku), and have received your JAMK login credentials.

Are you continuing your studies in the autumn term?
Welcome back! If you are a continuing student, you can update your membership for the next year as soon as you have enrolled as an attending student for the next academic year through Peppi. Membership for the academic year 2022-2023 is valid until 30th September 2023.

Are you graduating this spring?
Congratulations on your graduation, and thank you for being a part of our community!
When the right to study ends, the membership of the students’ union also ends. Digital student cards may stop working very soon after graduation, when the information about the end of the right to study is updated in the databases, and the validity of the student card cannot be extended after graduation. This should be kept in mind, for example, when booking train tickets for a summer holiday trip.
