Four student card options for JAMKO members

JAMKO members are offered several different student card options, from which they can choose the one that suits them best, or if they wish, they can also use several options at the same time. There are 3 free options for digital student cards: Pivo, Slice and Kide.app. The digital card is activated through an app that can be downloaded to your mobile device. It is also possible to order a physical student card.

To get a student card, you must first become a JAMKO member via KideApp, pay the membership fee and then log in to the app of your choice. You can order a physical card via KideApp.

Pivo

• Mobile payments and paying in student restaurants available in the same app
• Nationwide discounts and benefits for students
• Requires a Finnish personal ID and online banking credentials
• Only available for degree and exchange students
• Can usually be activated within a day of paying the membership fee

Slice

• National and local discounts and benefits for students, the Students’ Union’s own member benefits also conveniently available
• Also available to non-degree students (so-called green student card)
• Can usually be activated within a day of paying the membership fee

Kide.app

• In the same application, you can find e.g. Students’ Union event tickets
• Also available to non-degree students (so-called green student card)
• Can be activated immediately after paying the membership fee

Physical student card

• The traditional choice, will definitely work even when the battery runs out or the internet is down
• Price 6€
• Delivery time 1-3 weeks
• Only available to degree and exchange students
• You can order a post delivery for your student card, if you can’t collect the card from the JAMKO office.
