JAMKO’S MEMBERSHIP IS THE KEY TO STUDENT LIFE
Mon 11.1.

JAMKO’s student card offers a wide selection of national and local student benefits. Student card is JAMKOs membership card and you can join as a member for the whole year or just for a semester, after that you must renew it to maintain the benefits. Remember that the autumn semester membership is valid only until the end of January. Spring’s funniest lessons are held in Social House with JAMKO’s Detentions – traditional pub quiz. First quiz is held on Tuesday 12th of January from 7p.m. Topic is TV-series. Gather a team of max. 4 people and come to compete. More info: https://www.facebook.com/events/885013711619436/

The application period for new tutors for the academic year 2016–2017 is on until 13.1.2016. We’re looking for Peer and Degree Tutors to help and guide their own study fields’ new students and International Tutors for incoming exchange students. Thu 14.1.

A day full of wintery fun offers snowy games, grilling sausages and possibility to try traditional Finnish smoke-sauna at Laajis from 12pm-5pm. Awesome chance to meet new international friends! OFFICE’S OPENING HOURS CHANGE
Fri 15.1.

Starting from January JAMKO’s office is open Monday – Thursday from 9am to 3pm and Friday’s from 10pm to 2pm. On Fridays we’ll open an hour later due to staff meeting. More info: toiminnanjohtaja(a)jamko.fi

LUTAKKO LIBRARY’S FACILITIES AND MATERIALS AVAILABLE ALSO ON SATURDAYS

JAMK’s students and staff are able to use Lutakko Library’s facilities and materials also on Saturdays during self-service hours from 9 am until 2 pm. Enter the Library with your library card during self-service hours. Lutakko Library’s new learning space can be used for learning, teaching, and hanging out.
