Candidate nomination of JAMKO’s representatives election has ended – 23 confirmed candidates!

Nominations for the JAMKO elections have closed. A total of 9 alliances were formed during the nomination period and 6 of them had candidates. These 6 alliances were confirmed by the Central Electoral Committee at its meeting on 8th of October. 24 persons filed their candidacy by the deadline and 23 of those were eligible and confirmed. In addition, an electoral ring was formed between two electoral alliances, Jyväskylän Keskustaopiskelijat and Opiskelevat kokoomuslaiset. The final composition of the electoral lists and the official number of candidates will be published in week 43.

The candidates for the council elections will be presented on the election website, on social media and on the voting aid app, which will be published in week 43. Candidates can also present themselves at election panels organized by JAMKO on 29th of October at Rajakatu and at election villages on 28th of October at Rajakatu and 1st of November at Dynamo.

 

21 full members will be elected for the 2025 JAMKO Representatives Council by ballot between 28th of October and 6th of November. Voting will take place via an electronic web link, which will be sent to each JAMKO member by email. You can vote in the elections if you have joined JAMKO for the current academic year by 21th of October. 

 

Election results will be in on 6th of November.
