Come and develop JAMKO Café

Jyväskylä Student Services Ltd JOPO is now seeking for a new board for the next term!

We are looking for a chairperson and two board members.

Your task on the Board is to influence JAMKO Cafè’s operations, develop the café’s services and products, and participate in the café’s marketing. The Board meets about 4-6 times a year, so there is not a lot of work. Serving on the board of the Ltd is also a great addition for future working life.

The term of office is approximately 12 months.

What does JOPO Ltd do?

Jyväskylä Student Services JOPO Ltd provides café services at JAMKO Cafe and thesis bookbinding services at JAMKO’s office.

The chairperson of JOPO Ltd has the obligation to convene meetings, act as Chairperson meetings of the Board, to take care of the measures for the development of café services, and to work together with the shift manager to promote the sales of the café. The Chairperson is paid an annual fee.

The duties of a member of JOPO Ltd’s Board include attending Board meetings, participating in the development of the café’s operations and participating in decision-making.

The CEO handles the administration of the Ltd, the payment of salaries and acting as a supervisor to the shift manager, so you do not have to worry about these matters when you serve on the board. The CEO of JOPO Ltd is also the Excecutive Director of JAMKO.

Candidates will be elected at the general meeting to be held on April 11, 2022.
