Come to run students’ own café!

JAMKO is looking for members of the Board of Jyväskylän opiskelijoiden palvelut Ltd (JOPO). JOPO owns the JAMKO Cafe on Rajakatu, and in this role you will be responsible for leading and developing JOPO’s operations together with the CEO.

We are looking for a wide range of skills and backgrounds, previous café experience is an advantage but not mandatory. If you are interested in café development, communications, finance or just good management, please apply! The board meets about 4 times a year, but you can participate more actively in the development of the café. You can come up with ideas for events, campaigns or new products to suit your own interests. You will receive a small commission for your work and a coffee and pastry benefit. The board works in Finnish and English as required. However, Finnish is the official language, so the minutes will be in Finnish.

Apply by 10 April. Interviews will take place on 11 April, 14 April and 15 April, or possibly during the application period. If the number of applicants surprises you, not everyone may be interviewed. So please follow up your email diligently to ensure that we can arrange an interview time.
