Find out more about the candidates

The best way to find out more about the candidates is to visit the JAMKO voting aid app at opiskelijakuntasi.fi. By selecting JAMKO from the menu, you can compare the candidates standing in the JAMKO elections. The questions in the app allow you to compare your thoughts on student life, JAMKO and Jamk with the candidates’ answers. You will find the candidates who have filled in the questionnaire.

You can also meet the candidates and election alliances on campus. The election villages will take place in the lobby of the Dynamo campus on 28 October from 11:30-13:30 and in the D-lounge of the Rajakatu campus on 1 November from 11-13.

We are organising an election panel event at Rajakatu Campus D-lounge on 29.10. at 15-16.The election panel will discuss the candidates’ views on various issues related to school, studies and JAMKO in a relaxed panel format. The panel will be open to 2 candidates per electoral association. The panel will be filmed live on JAMKO’s instagram and recorded for later viewing.

Vote by 6.11. at 15.00

By voting you can influence issues that are important to all students. For example, a member of the Board of Representatives decides on the amount of the JAMKO membership fee and the Board’s action plan for the next year, and they also influence many issues related to students’ everyday life in JAMK’s working groups. JAMKO encourages all students to vote and thus influence the issues that are important in our higher education community. Candidates and electoral associations are also encouraged to be active in the election process.

The results of the elections will be announced on Wed 6 Nov.
