Elina Oksanen chosen to substitute Guidance and Well-Being advisor
JAMKOs recruiting committee chose Elina Oksanen to be the maternity leave substitute of JAMKO’s Guidance and Well-being advisor Karoliina Vallipuro. The committee received 25 applications and five persons was interviewed. Oksanen convinced the recruiting committee with her application and in the interview with her broad education and versatile guidance and work experience.
Elina Oksanen is bachelor of culture and arts and Rehabilitation instructor. She has studied the degrees at University of applied sciences Jyväskylä JAMK. She has studied musical therapy in open university of Jyväskylä. Previously she has worked at Lyhty ry as an organization secretary and a workshop instructor. She has guidance experience from Learning and Consulting Centre Onerva with special needs children, she has done voluntary work in Tanzania and has a broad experience from the field of sales.
The Advisor of Guidance and Well-being is responsible for JAMKO’s tutoring, recruitment and training of new tutors. She develops peer guidance activities and sports services in the whole JAMK UAS. The Guidance and Well – being Advisor is responsible for the study modules and their content of the elective student tutoring and international student tutoring.
Elina Oksanen begins her work with orientation on April 10th.
