Well-being week: Education policy is the best policy

How to influence everyone’s common issues at school

Education policy as a word is easily stuck in the throat, but in practice it is the management of common issues within the higher education institution and the factors affecting it. From the student’s point of view, it can e.g. mean how you can influence the quality of education with your opinion, promote better teaching and guidance, what rights students have in relation to the rules and plans of the university of applied sciences.

Education policy expert Antti Paunonen sheds light on the matter for us through practical examples. Antti has taken action in his own study field student association Tarmo, as an education policy responsible in JAMKO and as a board member in National Union of Students in Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences.

The event is held on Oct 5th in JAMKO Café from 3pm to 5pm. There will be coffee, tea and snacks available. The event is free for everyone. Secure yourself a place on KideApp
