Info about membership at the turn of the semester for continuing, new and graduating students
The change of the academic year affects the validity and aquiring of JAMKO membership.
Membership for next academic year will be available on our Kide.app page from 1st July 2024 onwards.
Continuing student
You can renew your membership online as soon as you have enrolled as an attending student for the next academic year in Peppi.
New student
you can join JAMKO once you have accepted your offer of admission and enrolled as an attending student for the next academic year in the My Studyinfo service, and obtained your JAMK login credentials. Your digital student card will activate when your study right officially begins.
Graduating student
Graduating JAMKO members, take notice that when your studies end, your digital student card will also expire. Student card can be used by a student who has enrolled as an attending for the academic year. When university register systems get the notice that the student graduates and their right to study ends, the digital student cards will also expire and JAMKO membership ends. This can happen very quickly after graduation, so it is a good thing to keep in mind when planning e.g. summer trips.
