JAMKO’s actives organized for 2018
JAMKO’s new Board of 2018 has dealt the areas of responsibilities. The new Chairperson of the Board is Mikael Rauhansalo, third year business information systems student and as the Vice Chair Tuomas Kallinki, fourth year tourism student. Board’s Chairperson is responsible for Student Union’s trusteeship work, administration and acts as the superior to the Board. Vice Chairperson supervises JAMKO’s service processes and events.
Nine members were elected to JAMKO’s Board and the areas of responsibility have been dealt in the organizing meeting on November 30th as it follows:
- Amanda Nygård, social policy
- Mirva Jokilehto, educational policy
- Jasmiina Kumpulainen, exchange and degree tutoring
- Juho Niemelä, peer tutoring
- Emma Ahonen, Multiform tutoring and mentoring
- Jani Tervo, international Club
- Ville Laitinen, well-being
- Eveliina Rautava, culture and entertainment
- Frans Kuusisalo, services

The position of Service Responsible is new in the Board and has been created to support JAMKO’s strategy and the upcoming year of services. In the next term the Chairperson of the Representatives is Anni Lajunen and The Vice Chairperson is Ossi Hytönen. In addition, the Representatives have put forward their motion of the student members to JAMK UAS’ working groups e.g. restaurant committees, Board of Study Issues and the Board of examiners. The student representative for JAMK University of Applied Sciences Ltd and the representatives to the delegation of Central Finland Student Housing Foundation KOAS, Music campus’ restaurant committee and RDI – group are chosen at the first meeting on Jan 18th 2018.
