JAMKO’s winter event invites the whole family to Laajis

Laskiainen is a traditional Finnish celebration and it is often described as a “mid-winter sledding celebration”. Join us for JAMKO’s Laskiainen pre-jam event to spend a nice winter event skiing down hills. The event will take place at Laajavuori Ski Center Laajis, in the Lumimaa ski area. The area and laavu are reserved for our private ure from 17:00 to 19:00. You can come alone, with a friend or with the whole family! You can even take your godchild with you! The event is open to all students, but we especially welcome students with children and families. The event is completely alcohol-free.

Lumimaa is located near the Laajis parking area. You can bring your own sled to borrow from JAMKO. In addition to sledging, you can take part in other activities organised by JAMKO and warm up in the laavu with your own snacks.

The ticket includes entrance to the Lumimaa ski area and a warm juice and/or hot chocolate. Ticket sales end on Thursday 27th February at 20:00, so book your place now! Tickets are limited.

All participants are insured by JAMKO. As with all JAMKO events, JAMKO’s principles of safer space apply to this event.
