Krista Rantanen chosen as JAMKO’s member service advisor!
Krista Rantanen starts her job at JAMKO office on April 1st.
The student union JAMKO held a recruitment for the new member service advisor in March. The application period ended on March 6, 2022 and the recruitment team made its decision on March 17, 2022. We received a lot of qualified applications for the vacant job, and the level in applications as well as interviews was very high. Thanks again to all applicants for their interest and time in JAMKO.
Krista Rantanen assured the recruitment team. Her diverse and international experience of similar jobs, familiarity with JAMKO’s operations and great motivation for the job were reflected in both the application and the interview. Rantanen has previous work experience in a variety of office assistant and customer service positions at Goldsmiths University, part of the University of London, as well as experience as a service advisor and payment transaction advisor in Finland. Rantanen is currently also studying for a master’s degree in philosophy at the University of Jyväskylä.
The member service expert assists students in various matters related to the student union and its services. She advises on membership and student card matters as well as on matters related to membership systems, maintains the student union membership register and handles the thesis book binding service. The member service expert also plays a key role in membership development tasks.
