The new tutor and sports secretary is Karoliina Niinistö

23 year old Bachelor of Social Services Karoliina Niinistö was chosen to become the new Tutor and Sports Secretary of Student Union JAMKO. JAMKO’s Board chose at the Board meeting April 2nd. Four persons were interviewed of 46 applicants. Karoliina Niinistö convinced the recruiting committee with her application and in the interview. Niinistö has a strong backround in different associations and at JAMKO. While she was studying at JAMK University of Applied Sciences, she was the Chairperson of the Board and treasurer at Health & Social studies study field association JASTO. Furthermore she was a tutor and a member of JAMKO council of representatives and member of the central election committee of JAMKO. Schooling experience she has got through her work at Child protection services and her Bachelors thesis.
The Tutor and Sports Secretary is responsible for organizing and coordinating JAMKO’s tutoring and sports services. She develops the sports services and peer tutoring activities in the whole JAMK University of Applied Sciences. The Tutor and Sports Secretary is responsible for the elective study modules of student tutoring and international student tutoring and their contents.
The new Tutor and Sports secretary begins her work at JAMKO on May 4th. In the meantime, please contact JAMKO’s Executive Director.
