JAMKO’s Board and Chairpersons for 2025 were elected on Monday evening, 11.11.2024, at the organizational meeting of the Council of Representatives.
Annu Suvilehto, a fourth-year ICT student, was elected as the new Chairperson of the Council. Suvilehto is this year the Chair of JAMKO’s Board. Eetu Ruotsalainen, who is serving as Vice-Chair of the Council this year, was elected for another term. He is in his third year of Robotics & Automation engineering.
Otso Miettunen, a fourth-year Business Administration student, was elected as the Chairperson of the Board. He is the tutor responsible in JAMKO’s Board this year. The Board Chair is responsible for the administration and advocacy activities of JAMKO. Janna Komonen, a third year Social Services student, was elected as Vice Chair of the Board and head of JAMKO’s events and services. Ms Komonen has served on JAMKO’s events and media team and as a mentor.

There were a total of 14 applicants and 9 were chosen. The board will define the areas of responsibility at its organizational meeting on November 19. The term of office of the new board begins in January 2025
The composition of the Representative Council changed with the Board elections and the Council was left short of filled seats. The Council decided to supplement its composition with an additional recruitment, the timing of which will be announced later.
