DESIGN A CELEBRATORY OVERALL BADGE FOR JAMKO
Tue 12.11.
JAMKO announces an overall badge contest to celebrate its upcoming 20th anniversary in 2020. The pattern, style and shape is up to you. The competition time is Nov 5th – Nov 17th. The designer of the winning badge will receive a 50€ gift card, an invitation and dinner card to the main event of the year, JAMKO’s 20th anniversary gala held on October 10th 2020 and the finished overall badge. SCHOOLING ABOUT MEETING PRACTISES AND INFLUENICING MUNICIPAL MATTERS

JAMKO offers a schooling about meeting practises and how to make difference in municipal matters on Tuesday 12.11. 5pm F307. Schooling is especially meant for people interested in associations. STATUTORY AUTUMN MEETING OF JAMKO REPRESENTATIVES
Wed 13.11.
JAMKO’s representatives’ meeting at 13.11. 5pm at auditorium Valjakka. On agenda there are JAMKO’s 2020 action plan and budget. In addition to this persons will be chosen for JAMK’s environmental group. The representatives will talk about same matters in evening school 4.11. at 5.30pm F307. Meetings are open to all members. Coffee, tea and pizza.

JAMKO SEARCHES A STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE FOR JAMK’S ENVIRONMENTAL GROUP

JAMK’s environmental group looks into JAMK’s carbon emissions and what should be done in order to get it lower. The group is led by vice principal. The group needs a student/vice person that will be chosen in representatives meeting on 13.11. 5pm at auditorium Valjakka. You can improve your chances by an application to edustajisto@jamko.fi

CHRISTMAS SEASON OPENING IS SWEET

We’ll party again next week because the Opening of the Christmas season is finally here. 14.11. at 10pm all the nice and naughty ones are welcome to Bra. This party will be filled with sweets and surprises. Pre-tickets are already sold out so come early to join the fun! First 30 will get a Christmas hat. JAMKO is looking for new board members. JAMKO’s board you will get a chance to run the operative side in the student union. The representatives will choose the board in their first meeting on Nov 18th at 5 p.m. You want to join JAMKO’s board that is the place to be. EDVAEXCU: LET’S GO TO PLENARY SESSION
Tue 19.11.
On the 19.11. JAMKO arranges a trip to see the plenary session of Finnish Parliament in Helsinki. We will also go to labor union PRO and see what they offer to UAS students. JAMKO is looking for student representation to working groups of JAMK UAS. Every student who studies for the degree can apply. The council of representatives makes selections in their meeting 25.11.2019 F306 at 5pm. The responsibility requires good skills in Finnish.
