JAMKO BOARD SEEKS REINFORCEMENT FOR THE YEAR 2019

JAMKO is seeking one more active for its board. Were you still thinking whether to apply? Now there’s a chance.

The council of representatives makes selections in their meeting 3.12.2018. The responsibility requires good skills in Finnish. FINAL THESIS BOOK BINDINGS BEFORE CHRISTMAS

Want to preserve your hard work as it deserves? The online orders of final thesis book bindings that have been sent to JAMKO by 12th of December until 3pm can be delivered before JAMKO’s Christmas break. Online orders can still be sent after this closing date, in this case the ready books can be picked up since 7th of January 2019 in the afternoon. We collect Christmas cards for elderly people. Make or buy one, Siskot & Simot will deliver them for elderly people in Jyväskylä. PARKING PROHIBITED ON AATOKSENKATU

City of Jyväskylä has forbidden street parking on Aatoksenkatu, the road between Main Campus and Orthodox Church. The cars parked in the slope between Rajakatu and the dogpark has caused unsafe situations. More information: Timo Hiltunen, p.0400 808 945
EXCEPTIONS IN SCHOOL LUNCH AT MAIN CAMPUS
Fri 30.11.
Lunch service at Main Campus ends at 12:30 p.m on Fri 30th of November at School Caféteria Radis due to an evening event. Evening meal and café services continue at RajaCafé until 4 p.m. The cafeteria area will be closed from 1 p.m and passage through must be done via the hallway in the basement floor of D – wing.

The Volunteer Fair offers an opportunity to meet with many different community agencies who are looking for volunteers. The fair is held on Thursday, the 29th of November from 1 to 6pm at Kansalaistoiminnankeskus Matara. Free entry.
